I've got the fringe fever people. Seeing fringes everywhere and loving them! I cut one for myself about two years ago and again last year. The first time round was a bigger success than the second, as I took far too much off the second time round and looked rather silly.
I've now been offered a free hair cut from Tony and Guy salon in Paddington. The question remains: should I or should I not have a professional hairdresser cut me a fringe?...hmm. I will now proceed to leave many inspiring pictures below and see if that helps me in my decision making.
Yup. Definately helped me make a final decision. Whether I follow through with it is another story.
Stay tuned ;)

Home is where the house is.
I know how blessed I am to live in Bondi Beach, ON Bondi Beach even. I don't take this amazing location for granted..but hey, there is no harm in having a little day dream every now and then right?
Don't the houses above remind you of the good ol' classic movie Mrs Doubtfire?? Mmm beautiful.
....this last one is my ultimate dream! New York City loft apartment. Yes please!
Sweet dreaming... xx

Had to share this....
Whilst surfing face book this evening I happened to stumble across a link to you tube and it was there that I found my new favorite female artist!
Her name is Jessica Cornish A.K.A Jessie J.
I don't see it necessary for me to insert information about where she is from etc... I am sure once you hear her sing you will do your own research... I just think it is amazing and inspiring to see fresh and original talent! Someone who doesn't need studio corrections, but who can naturally blow everyone away with each note that comes out of her mouth. Here we have Duffy meets Natasha Bedingfield, meets MIA, meets Christina Aguilera, meets Whitney Houston..and there is even a little MJ in there at times.
Cannot wait for Jessie J to release an album, as I know that it will be a sellout!
Just excited I could share my new fav with you!
Enjoy the video I have posted below. I have now seen this maybe 11 times in a period of 1.5hrs. I just simply can't get enough and wishhhh that she would release the acoustic version so I can put my earphones in my ears and play it over and over with hopes that I could to carry a tune just the way she does, with passion and rhythm and style. Mmm.... enjoy.

(Copy and paste this if the link, for some reason doesn't want to cooperate)

Style inspiration.
Okay. So, this blog may border on materialistic...but what can I say? I am a girl that wants everything all at once. Not in a Willy Wonka 'I want the world, I want the whole world' manner. Gosh no. The more fashion magazines I flick through, the more my eyes are opened to the beautiful world of fashion and what it has to ofter.
For some of us anyway...
Lets face it, $1,700 Christian Dior boots aren't always a realistic option..so I will just continue to drool and lust over beautiful things until one day I am lucky enough to have them in my possession. May God help me wear these said beautiful things as well as the alluring Charlize Theron.
Mmm, shoes shoes glorious shoes! You could definately say that I am a shoes and accessories kinda gal. Watches, hats, belts, handbags... and best of all sunglasses. I would even go as far to say if that someone was dressed like a homeless and had a fabulous pair of sunglasses on, people may not even stop to judge.
When it comes to fashion inspiration there will be a few popular names that pop into your head such as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Kruger, Kate Bosworth and the Olsen Twins. Then you have the newer kids on the block such as Whitney Port, Alexa Chung, and one person in particular who I have come to appreciate ever since The City ceased to bring out a 3rd Season and she changed her hair colour to brunette...the all American socialite Olivia Palermo. My goodness me, this girl knows how to whip up an outfit and look sensational! Having launched a jewelry line with Roberta Freymann in 2010, her bling-ch-cha-ching is always amazing!
Here are some of my fav outfits from Miss Olivia Palermo. P.s check out her spunky man!
Awe-inspiring.

Live, laugh, love & dream big dreams!
Jonathan and I were stopped at a red light the other day and both spotted an old man walking alone on the foot path. An ordinary looking old man, he wore a brown suit and still had a full head of gray hair, but what caught our eye was that he was walking along with a big grin. It was so lovely to see. He just seemed to have such a great attitude towards life.
We both wondered what his life would have consisted of? What sights he would have seen, or not seen? What success he would have encountered, or maybe not encountered. What loves he would have experienced???
I want to live my life to the absolute fullest! Get to old age and have no regrets and wear a big smile on my face just like that old man.
I love being in love, and having big dreams, and I love that I have my whole life ahead of me to achieve those dreams!!
And so I leave you with this quote. Definitely one of my favorites.
"Rest not! Life is sweeping by; go and dare before you die. Something mighty and sublime, leave behind to conquer time." - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

There's no place like home.
There has been a reoccurring theme in my dreams every night this week....Home sweet home.
Last night I had quite a merry dream. I was back at home on the Sunshine Coast, with my closest friends and my family. I can't remember what I was doing exactly. All I remember was having this content feeling of happiness that would never end, that could never end...
...and then I woke up.
It made me think today that we should never take home for granted. Embrace each moment that we spend with our loved ones. I am so incredibly blessed to have such amazing people in my life. I think of you and pray for you all everyday.
You know you're home sick when you start posting photos of where you used to live on blog sites.
mmm...

Wedding Inspiration.
Heya!!
I've had a lot of spare time at home after my op, so I've tried to use my time wisely and get some wedding prep done. I am having a ball planning for July 9!
I wanted to share with you some of my ideas!! (if you click on the photo you will be able to see each picture bigger)
After checking out some beautiful Wedding sites I am convinced that our wedding will have;
1. Jar tea-lights and hanging lanterns.
2. Centerpieces- vintage tins, jars or teapots to hold flowers.
3. A wild, overgrown floral theme for the reception.
4. Vintage elements.
5. Succulents.
6. Pearls in bridesmaids hair.
7. Fairy floss.
8. Mine and Jonathan's pick of candy in vases with serving scoops.
9. Possible flower in my hair.
I found this picture of January Jone's hair, and simply fell in love. I want to have the exact same hairstyle for my bridesmaids but with only 3 strands and instead of diamonds have baby pearls. Isn't it divine?!!
I also love these colours for the girls bouguets.
Aren't the jam jar tea-lights below adorable!
I'm loving these blush and dusty pink colours for the flowers in the centre of each table. Not the dark purple as I'm trying to steer away from darks and bolder colours. They will match the bridesmaids dresses so perfectly. Does anyone know exactly what these flowers are called? Let me know if so!!
I'm happy to say that I'll be coming home to the Coast in late April. I'll then be able to have appointments and finally set things in stone for the big day!
I hope you've enjoyed checking out my inspired ideas.
I look forward to sharing more with you soon!
Lots of love,

Wow.
What a week...
I had my first operation ever on Monday the 15th of March at 7.15am.
Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty. (nose job) Ouch!
It definitely was something I had been contemplating for a while but I never thought the healing process would be SO intense!
Thankfully I had my wonderful, beautiful, caring, kind-hearted mother come and stay with me for 7 whole days (as you need 7days for the bruising to go down).
Well it certainly has been a 7day emotional roller-coaster but everyone who knows about it has been so lovely and supportive! (Thank-you all my beautiful friends and family)
Mum and I decided on day 5 of the healing process that it might be a healthy idea to get out of the apartment we'd been cooped up in and drive down to my sisters place in Jervis Bay. So my amazing fiance' Jonathan accompanied us and we all enjoyed the gorgeous Friday afternoon drive. The scenery wasn't to harsh on the ol' eyes either. :)
It is always a joy to see my beautiful niece India and CUTE nephew Kaiden!
Kaiden named the cast on my nose an "Owie" and offered to rub it better.
I graciously declined...Ha ha.
Whilst in recovery and having very limited things to do I decided to google others who have had the same procedure. I was surprised to find that a lot of our Aussie celebs and Hollywood stars now have completely different noses to what they were born with! I loved looking at the before and afters!
Have a look for yourselves! http://www.celebrityplasticpics.com/
I finally after one entire week of having this cast on my nose get to see MY VERY OWN 'Before and After' tomorrow :) which I'm totally nervous but also completely excited about!
I'm praying it to be everything I've dreamed of and better!
Goodnight.
